Sowing Dreams
Fifteen years ago, I worked at a daycare center for children. One day, I accidentally carried a small toy soldier home in my pocket. This little soldier found his way into my collection of finds, and, as with many of my finds, he started to take on a life of his own. I added a small twig of mimosa to my soldier’s rifle, which seemed to almost explode out of it. The image of this flower-shooting soldier fascinated me and was the seed of an idea that needed time to germinate, develop, and grow. As every flower blooms when its time has come, so has the soldier blossomed and come into full bloom.
I would like to share with you the project “Sowing Dreams,” a utopian vision for life and nature on this planet.
In times of darkness, a new type of warrior arises. These noble warriors march gently along the planet, equipped with unique specimens of seed. With each soft press of the trigger, seeds shoot into the air and spread like a soft blanket of tenderness over the land. Where they fall, nature blooms in abundance. Even the most arid lands are revived by the warriors' dedication to nature.
Together, they will flourish.
